i’m new to all this. i dont know how to make threads. and we all know joining another server and preaching Steve’s adventure craft server isn’t a option. but i do have a few ideas. they may be kinda stupid, but i dont really know how server things like this work. so here are my ideas

you could perhaps make a alliance with another server running website thing. then you both could support each other. and people from their servers and websites might see your servers and think “hey this server looks pretty cool”

perhaps on the main page of the website you can put lists of servers that aren’t doing that well. like it says (Steve’s adventure craft server becoming a ghost server. awesome pack in need of players) or something like that.

i will attempted to think of more ideas as my day go’s on.

@Bent Yes, the current resource pack is great, and I LOVE it, but what I’m saying is there is things such as Tinkerer’s Construct and Chisel that don’t have textures, and I gathered from what Nick said that this would have all textures, I just thought it seemed like a good idea, I really do like the current resource pack.

Thanks for this suggestion. Currently, we do not plan to reset the main world. We will defiantly reset the mining world though, to make sure all new ores are spawning.

We are still working on the 1.3.x.x update and need to check compatibility with the current world though. So we cannot yet say that there will be a need for a reset of the overworld or not.

We (The Unitedworldminers Team) only offer the hardware. The server owners have to care about such issues. We only step in if the issue is on our side which is clearly not the case.

We reverted the server back to it’s original state before starting our work.

It’s not resetted in any way, all is up and fine

@VulpineMask Thanks for suggesting this. As the world border with a radius of 5000 and a diameter of 10000 is already really big and adding more space will result in way more disk size as well as load to the server we are currently not looking into expanding the border. Also there is a lot of empty space for everyone on the server. If the fanbase is growing further and there is a real need for an increased world size we will increase it of course.

Maybe create a rank system in which each rank will have its own kit and permissions to commands such as /back and /feed. As well as being able to set more than 1 home depending on the rank. If the server is going to include a currency system, I was thinking of in order for a player to rank up into the higher ranks they require a certain amount of playtime and money (in game currency) to rank up.

Note: This is just a rough idea of the server I’m throwing out at the public. If you like the idea and want me to go into further detail I will happily do so. If you think this idea doesn’t fit the theme of the server that’s fine with me.
