@VulpineMask Thanks for suggesting this. As the world border with a radius of 5000 and a diameter of 10000 is already really big and adding more space will result in way more disk size as well as load to the server we are currently not looking into expanding the border. Also there is a lot of empty space for everyone on the server. If the fanbase is growing further and there is a real need for an increased world size we will increase it of course.

@ArmyMAN701 From my technical point of view I agree with a world reset. Even though this was not my area I tried to fix things with restoring an update about 6 hours ago (which you might have noticed). Unfortunately this did only help for a few hours and somebody somehow managed to break the same chunk again…

Easiest thing to fix this is a world reset. Sounds hard, is bad but yeah only possibility I can see from here. But this is not my server, and I am the CTO of Unitedworldminers. I do my best to support the server owners!

@Soringaming @DjGenex please think about this. We got backups but something is obviously broke within your server.

I can only agree here with @Soringaming as Aether II is too big and will take to much performance. But nevertheless, thanks for your suggestions!

To fix the recent server crashes, we had to restore to a backup from today (01.04.2016) 19:00 CEST.

We apologize for the inconvenience and do our best to prevent this! Without restoring from the backup you would not have been able to ever play again on the server. The rollback is about 3 hours.

Okay it has been some back and forth in the past few days.

We had to deal with the Technic team simply deleting our Steve’s Adventure Craft pack without any notice or reason and had to re-setup everything. But nonetheless we used this as an advantage to improve our modpack and server for you. You can find the new modpack here.

Since yesterday the official server is open to the public and we are currently testing everything out.
