Claim protection?

How can people still access my chests if they are in a protected area? Most servers once you protect an area no one can bother your stuff. So is this a bug or is this just how the server is?

@xPapoose Hey there, how did you claim chests / what chests do you use (vanilla chests or modded ones)? If your area is claimed all container access is denied.

There is something wrong with grief protection we are working on getting a towny instead

@Bent I just used a stick and marked an area, that’s what the chat said to do and they were vanilla chests.
@DjGenex aw okay that explains it then.
Will there be an announcement when grief protection is fixed or switched to towny?
Just curious because the server seems nice and I’ll definitely join back once protections fixed :) -
