I really like them :)
Reaper: 100.000 Mob kills
<-- Have you actually ever killed that many mobs on one server 0.o * afraid *
We will defiantly consider Railcraft with the next update :)

Yes this looks good. Updates which run on Minecraft 1.9 will also run on Minecraft 1.10 as the changes between these Minecraft versions have been very little.
I will run this on a testserver and setup the parameters.
If you like, you could continue your lost of ranks as I really like the names you had. You could also use a “online-time” aspect to be ranked up.
Apart from the ranks you have already written:
Achiever: Complete all achievements quests in minecraft
Grinder: Reach xp level 100 / 150
Miner: Mine fx: 200k blocks
Doomed / Mortal: Over 100 deaths
there shall also be some ranks achievable by simply playing on the server. The ranks stated above could be considered as “special-ranks”.
One problem which came into my mind is that if you can only have one rank, which of the above would have higher priority? A hierarchy of ranks is also very important.

Hey @Envy-Machine,
thanks for suggesting this. I know that this is a struggle for players but you have to consider that the border also decreases server lag by a lot.
So how is this possible?
A world border is not just a physical border which you cannot pass, it also allows us as admins to prerender the world within the border. This process takes a lot of CPU power but leads to a steady performance when it’s done. If we would not pre-render the world, the server would constantly lag a lot when people enter new areas that were not rendered up to this point as this would trigger world generation each time. In a singleplayer world where you are the only player, you won’t notice such at all mostly, but on a multiplayer server this means lag and timeouts for every player.
We are considering to increase the world size with the next update. Increasing the world size results in exponential growth of disk usage as well as (for the rendering process) over-average CPU usage. We will wait until the next update, because we might add in some mods which generate ores / items upon world generation, so these things will then directly spawn in the new areas.
Also keep in mind, the overworld is mostly there to build and explore, for farming you have got the farming world (LeFarm) which is regularly reset.
Best regards
Bent
:D Because the in-server newsletter receiver list was too large it crashed the server…
Well yes, our community is huge!
Server will be back in a minute.

Hey there Adveturers,
we are happy to announce that @Kizza1993 has been promoted to be a Moderator. He will help the server to grow and to keep the community happy. You want to know a bit more about him? Check out his application.
Also for the one who have not noticed yet, due to an error on Technic, the original Steve’s Adventure Pack has been deleted. We have re-uploaded it as the fresh new Steve’s Adventure Craft. If you are not yet using the latest version, make sure to get it here as we cannot update the old pack anymore and it will soon not be compatible with the server anymore. You can transfer your singleplayer worlds and waypoints from the old pack to the new one manually.
So what’s coming next?
You have not joined our forums yet? Simply register here for free and get involved with the server team. Send us your feedback and suggest new mods / plugins you’d like to see on the server.
But that’s not all, registering in our forums will keep you updated about the latest news. We are also planning on releasing exclusive content through our forums, so stay tuned!
Cheers,
Bent
Congratulations to @Kizza1993, he has been promoted to support the team and the server as a moderator!

@imDray sounds like a very nice idea!
We will look into this and see how we can realize something like this “the easy way”. If you have any plugin suggestions on that, let me know. Ranks are done via PermissionsEX by the way.
Best regards

@tmax_hand is right on this. Unfortunately there is no way of preventing something like this except for banning such weapons.
But we think that a server shall not ban too much and should respect players as players shall respect others.

Hey @Iskiox,
your application is appealing and I’d like to take you to our closer selection.
One question I have is, how long have you been playing on the Modern Millenaire server and what would you change to make the server better.
Best regards
Bent
Hey @littlepug_4fun,
thank you for your application and thank you for being honest about your age.
Not wanting to be rude I have to say that you are too young for such a position. We had several issues with people around your age on our servers in the past four years which made us more careful about higher privileged ranks.
I am sorry for denying your application and wish you the best for your future.
If there is anything else, let us know.
Cheers,
Bent
Okay, thank you for this information.
Keep in mind if you trust someone on your claim, you are responsible for his actions.
Best regards

Hey @xPapoose
This is taken directly from GriefPreventions config file that is currently in use on the server:
PvP:
Worlds:
- world
- DIM-37
- DIM-38
- DIM-39
- DIM-42
- DIM1
- DIM-1
ProtectFreshSpawns: true
PunishLogout: false
CombatTimeoutSeconds: 5
AllowCombatItemDrop: true
BlockedSlashCommands: /home;/vanish;/spawn;/tpa
ProtectPlayersInLandClaims:
PlayerOwnedClaims: true
AdministrativeClaims: true
AdministrativeSubdivisions: true
As you can see players are protected against pvp in claims which they own but they are not protected against someone dumping lava outside of your claim / using flint and steel outside your claim. So if you run into fire some other player has lit outside your claim and run into your claim right after, you can still die on your claimed land.
Please let us know more details about the incident, like what killed you and make sure that you own the claim.
Bet regards
Bent
@SpazVortex You are welcome :)
