Forum Restored with Backup
-
After some Problems with the Forum today earlier, we need to restore the forum from a Database Backup from 05 Avril
All posts and Registrations between today and the 5. Avril are unfutornatly droppedBent will tell you more the next Days
-
RIP in peace all the work I did to the forums starting from the 6th ;(
-
I know, thats bad
But the forum’s database means that /dev/zero is a nice place
As i look into the logs, and into the Database, all fine, but wheres the Forum’s Database?
The only thingie in the log was a Plugin chrash
No plan whats going wrong
If you Change Data outside the database, thats here, only the database is gone -
I assume the stuff I did was only saved in the database, as it’s gone now. I can start working on re-doing some of my contributions once I regain administrator rights, but it’s unlikely I’ll remake those long threads about the forum redesign, etc…
Edit: Thank you for restoring my admin rights, I’ll try to redo some of the stuff again from scratch now.

I know thats bad
But if s**t happens, all goes kompletly wrong
Forum destroys herself,
Automatic backups not working (NOW they works)
an old manual backup
…If anyone of us can help you, let us know
-
It’s good to hear that automatic backups are fixed so this issue is less likely to happen in the future. :)
I don’t think you can really help more than you already have by restoring my permissions, but if you have text files of some of the long threads I had (if you haven’t, no problem) that’ll be great. :P

Finished re-doing most of the stuff from scratch now. This time I’ve deactivated/disabled any unused plugins and updated everything to help reduce the chances of a plugin crash. The only couple of things left is to rewrite all the forum threads I did before the fatal crash when I feel like it and add in modpack-adaptive backgrounds.

OK
Thanks for your work :)
Sadly i cant find any files with the old posts -
@Sebigamer4 Okay, thanks anyway. Could you update the forum to v1.0.3 please? It has some minor bugfixes and if I remember correctly, fixes a rare crashing issue according to the changelogs. :)
