@Monsterjj15 There is a guide to getting the best performance possible on CraftMine, but not Steve’s Adventure pack.

However, you can use the following points/tips in the CraftMine guide for any modpack:

“Get the latest 64bit Java” “Upgrade your graphics card or integrated graphics unit” “And finally… upgrade your CPU (desktops only)”

Please note that those points above are not settings-related, but general things you can do which will improve the performance of all games without needing to change settings.

For better performance in Steve’s Adventure Pack solely by changing settings, go to Esc -> Options -> Video settings and set Render distance to anything below 8. The lower the number, the less distance you can see but the faster the game will run. However, just changing settings won’t make as much difference as doing the points above too! ;)

Hey @Nick,

We (The Unitedworldminers team) offered @Soringaming and @DjGenex the opportunity to use our hardware to host their server. They have to provide support / bugfixes. We only step in if the issue is on on our side e.g. if our root servers fail.

I hope the admins will return and work on the pack again.

In the meantime, I recommend to post as much infos about the crashes as possible. This will help them fixing the bugs.

The link to your YouTube channel on your Technic Platform’s pack post takes me to a non-existant channel page and there is no mention about what your modpack’s aims are, what it offers, etc… You’re missing a proper name for your “mudpack” and have no branding for it, nor any permissions shown for redistributing any of the mods contained in your modpack.

No offense but I personally doubt you will get a free server and Solder instance from UWM or anyone for that matter in your current state. It may be a better idea for you to make some videos of an existing modpack in singleplayer when first starting out on YouTube, such as some of the packs on the UWM network. Attempting to build and maintain your own modpack on top of your own upcoming YouTube channel will be incredibly difficult without an existing fanbase or experience and knowledge in making modpacks, as people won’t be looking for you if they haven’t heard of you before - they’ll be looking for videos of packs they have heard of before, which is where you start getting views in the early days of YT.

Recently a player by the name of HopeSoftSnow was been giving the rank of Moderator. me and her have always been enemys. (me being a witch and her being a witch hunter) now that she has rank she threatened to ban me and my friend for cursing her which i thought was the whole point of the mod pack. and made me so sad the i wanted to leave the server for good. to me at least she doesn’t seem like the neutral party that staff should be. i would ask for you to tell her to not be so touchy. and maybe take away her ban command.
these have just been suggestions. i would ask for you to consider what i have said.

Hello, I’m here from Technic Platform and I’m reporting that GrowthCraft Cellar-1.7.10-2.1.0a Fermentation Barrels cause the client to crash upon right-clicking them, which is frustrating since I like the Modpack and wish to use all of the utilities available in every mod.

I’m also here to suggest a few mods to make gameplay easier for players and a much more enjoyable experience in the long run, these mods are:

WailaNBT-1.7.10-1.4 WailaHarvestability-mc1.7.x-1.1.2 Waila-1.5.9_1.7.10, FoodPlus-1.7.2-3.2rS Lots of Food-1.7.10 v7 AnimalsPlus-1.2 InventoryTweaks-1.58-147 ttCore-MC1.7.10-0.1.1-78

I’ve manually added each of these mods to the Modpack myself through the .technic files within the computer and came to find that there are no complications when they are added other than the persisting fermentation barrel problem which also happens without them, if you test any of these mods that are more up to date and they work correctly please tell me so I too can update them. Thanks in advance, I’d be very happy to know if any of my suggested mods are added or even if the problems are fixed.
