Problem on Steve's Adventure Craft launcher

When I try to update or install the modpack , it says attempting to extract file steves-adventure-craft-1?0.zip but it did not exist. How do i fix that?

There are several possibilities what could let you face this error
Here are some- old / broken java version
- missing permissions / ownership of directory
- corrupted binary (rare)
fixing:
- clean reinstall of java
- remove folder and reinstall launcher (remember backup is everything)
- redownload launcher
After every item reboot and check if changes are saved
